About New World Solar

New World Solar Installations was launched in April 2006 .Since then our business has gone from strength to strength. During 2007/8 we have carried out over 350 Renewable Energy installations nationwide. They include PV installations on the Isle of White, Installing Solar Thermal Hot water in Birmingham, Sandwell, East Anglia Air Source heat pumps in Newbury and Rainwater harvesting and sun pipes in Tamworth.

A Growing client portfolio

The properties we on which have completed Renewable technologies installations have been wide ranging and diverse:

Domestic homes, Social Housing retrofit and new build, Community centres, a police motorway out post, ECO centres, ECO offices, Sustainable homes code level 3/4/5.

Our ever expanding client portfolio includes City Councils, Metropolitan Borough councils, Hosing associations, Developers, national builders, Architects, Faith Communities, Environmental consultations, The constabulary, and of course the private home owners.

2008 was an iconic year for our business. Having completed the largest Solar thermal retrofit project we then went on to gain ISO 14001 accreditation. With our partners Family housing, Birmingham City Council and Urban Living we also won the prestigious national energy efficiency award (public sector).The award, Presented at the Globe theatre London, and was sponsored by EDF and the Independent newspaper.

NWSI is a BRE approved installer and as such can source Grant funding for Low Carbon Building Programme Phase 1 (domestic) and phase 2 (Public sector) for Solar Thermal Hot water, PV and Heat pump systems.
